A Nebraska woman had an unforgettable hunting trip earlier this month when she not only bagged a big buck but also received a surprise marriage proposal from her boyfriend. Samantha Camenzind, a 28-year-old from Omaha, was given the first shot at the deer they had spotted on a trail camera south of Lincoln. Little did she know that her boyfriend, Cole Bures, had something even more special in store for her.

Camenzind and Bures, 32, have been dating for three years and one of their shared passions is hunting. As avid hunters, they not only enjoy the sport but also process and consume the meat from their kills. When they spotted the magnificent buck with 11 tines on one side of its antlers and nine on the other, Camenzind couldn't believe her luck.

"I was just as excited as she was when she got it," Bures said of his girlfriend's successful shot. But he had another surprise planned. Bures suggested they call a professional photographer to capture the momentous occasion. Little did Camenzind know, this photo shoot would turn into a life-changing moment.

As they posed with the prized trophy, Bures got down on one knee and asked Camenzind to marry him. The photographer captured the exact moment when she said yes, forever preserving the joy and surprise on their faces. Camenzind admitted that she didn't see the proposal coming and described it as "perfect."
