King Charles blasted "that fool' Prince Harry after Netflix docuseries release: book

21:55 27.11.2023

In a shocking revelation, royal expert Sarah Hewson claimed that Prince William and Prince Harry have no plans to see each other, except for when they both attend family funerals. Hewson stated that Harry has only returned for big family occasions, such as the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Prince Philip's funeral, their grandmother's funeral, and their father's coronation, although his visit for the coronation was brief. However, Hewson noted that there are no upcoming royal marriages or christenings that would bring Harry back to the family.

Hewson further relayed that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will not be attending the royal family's Christmas gathering at Sandringham, stating that their presence would be "very awkward." She also expressed that it is challenging to envision any other occasion where the brothers would be in the same place, except for a family funeral.

The estrangement between the brothers is said to have worsened after Omid Scobie, author of the highly anticipated book "Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival," claimed that William had attempted to undermine Harry and Meghan. According to Scobie's book, William prioritized his loyalty to the monarchy and leaked false stories about his brother and sister-in-law to the press. Friends of the Prince and Princess of Wales vehemently denied these allegations, considering them outrageous.

Despite the frosty relationship with William, Harry seems to be thawing his relationship with his father, King Charles III. On the monarch's 75th birthday, Harry had a "polite and warm" phone call with his father. However, Hewson and other royal commentators believe that full reconciliation with the Windsors is still far off. Hewson expressed concern about private conversations consistently becoming public, emphasizing that trust needs to be rebuilt for any progress to be made. She mentioned a previous glimmer of hope when Kate tried to initiate a conversation between the brothers after the death of Prince Philip.

Scobie's book also makes startling claims about Charles mocking his son as "that fool" after the release of Harry and Meghan's Netflix series "Harry and Meghan." The series allegedly revealed leaked information about their planned move to Canada, which was ultimately abandoned. The author also disclosed that William and Kate found the portrayal of Harry and Meghan in the TV show South Park to be hilarious. The episode titled "The Worldwide Privacy Tour" parodied the couple's move to California and their desire for privacy.

Furthermore, the book depicts Charles as a pampered figurehead who reportedly demands 1,000-thread-count bedsheets during his travels and even requires someone to tie his shoes for him. Although not as significant as other allegations, Scobie claims that palace staffers encouraged both Kate and Meghan to dress like the late Princess Diana. Scobie suggests that while this can be seen as a sweet gesture, it also raises concerns about the same system that contributed to Diana's unhappiness attempting to benefit from her legacy.

The release of Scobie's book has undoubtedly added fuel to the already simmering tensions within the royal family. As the public eagerly awaits any further developments, the future of the relationship between the two brothers remains uncertain.
