The incident occurred on I-95 as the rapper was about to exit, and he was struck by another vehicle, as reported by TMZ. In a video posted on his Instagram story, 2 Chainz confirmed the news as he filmed himself in the back of an ambulance, with his damaged car visible in the background.

According to TMZ, the rapper's car sustained extensive damage after being hit from behind by a driver suspected to be under the influence. The Florida Highway Patrol representative confirmed the crash involved a Mercedes, Nissan, and Toyota but did not disclose the identities of the occupants. However, they did confirm that one adult male was transported to a local hospital without revealing his name or condition. Entertainment Tonight later reported that 2 Chainz is in stable condition.

Sources have revealed that the rapper had left a Miami strip club called Booby Trap shortly before the accident. He was reportedly in Miami to promote the visual album for Welcome 2 Collegrove, a collaboration with Lil Wayne, as part of the Art Basel showcase of modern and contemporary art.
