Hidden under a trap door in the play area of the day care, detectives found not only fentanyl, but also other narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The New York City Police Department shared photos showing several bags concealed under a floorboard, raising concerns about the extent of drug activity at the facility. This discovery comes in the wake of federal charges being filed against the owner of the day care, Grei Mendez, and her alleged accomplice, Carlisto Acevedo Brito.
