Prince William's Sweating Secret: Kate Middleton's Home Habit Revealed

02:53 13.10.2023

The Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton, concluded their three-day campaign to raise awareness for mental health by engaging in some playful sports activities. The royal couple participated in various sports games during their visit to the Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre in Marlow, west of London, on Thursday. They took part in netball, with Kate demonstrating her athletic abilities by attempting to shoot hoops while William playfully waved his arms to distract her. They also engaged in goalball, a Paralympic sport for the visually impaired, where both of them wore eye masks.

The event, sponsored by SportsAid, a charity that provides mental health services to young athletes, aimed to highlight the psychological aspects of sports. Both William and Kate sported casual attire for the occasion, with the princess wearing a blue Zara blazer, white top, and skinny jeans, while William opted for a navy-blue sweater over a light-blue shirt and jeans. Kate, who has been a patron of SportsAid for a decade, emphasized the importance of mental health conversations in her speech during the event, praising young people for leading the charge in discussing their mental well-being.

Earlier in the week, the royal couple made an appearance on BBC Radio One's "Going Home with Vick and Jordan" show. During the interview, they were asked about their emoji habits, to which William humorously responded that his most frequently used emoji is the one where the eyes go up and down, commonly known as the crazy emoji. Kate, on the other hand, picked the "heart with the crying emoji," explaining that it represents hysterical laughter when things go wrong. The couple had been in Birmingham for the interview, where they co-hosted a mental health forum with the radio station.

In another interview, the couple revealed some insights into their cooking habits. Kate mentioned that she sometimes has to hold back on the spice in curries for William because he starts sweating excessively when there is too much spice. William jokingly added that Kate has to introduce the spice gradually, as his sweaty appearance is not a pleasant sight. The interview took place during their appearance on Radio 1, where they discussed their dinner plans for the evening.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also attended a mental health awareness event in New York City on Tuesday. The couple made a discreet appearance at an in-person summit in support of World Mental Health Day for their Archewell Foundation. Meghan donned a cream-colored off-the-shoulder top, paired with wide-legged pants, while Harry accompanied her as they discreetly moved from parking garage to parking garage to avoid the paparazzi.

Overall, the royal couple's dedication to raising awareness for mental health and engaging in activities that promote well-being showcases their commitment to the cause. Their participation in sports games and their candid conversations about emojis and cooking habits add a relatable touch to their royal status, making them more approachable to the public.
