In a disturbing turn of events, a Los Angeles man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a dismembered body was found in a dumpster. Samuel Haskell, 35, was identified as a suspect by the Los Angeles Police Department after a bag containing an unidentified female torso was discovered by someone searching through a dumpster. Authorities were able to trace the bag back to the home that Haskell shared with his wife, Mei Li Haskell, and her parents, Yanxiang Wang and Gaoshan Li.

Upon entering the residence, officers discovered blood and other evidence, leading them to believe that the murder took place there. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently awaiting DNA results to officially confirm the identity of the torso, but Captain Scot Williams stated that it is assumed to be Mei Li Haskell.
