Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces second lawsuit alleging sexual assault and revenge porn

Sean Diddy Combs Faces Another Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Assault and "Revenge Porn"

Sean Diddy Combs, the renowned hip hop mogul and founder of Bad Boy Entertainment, has been hit with a second lawsuit in just two weeks. The lawsuit, filed under the New York Adult Survivors Act, accuses Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman, Joi Dickerson-Neal, in 1991. The complaint also alleges that Combs recorded the assault and distributed it as "revenge porn" within the music industry.

The civil lawsuit, filed in the New York Supreme Court, seeks damages and demands a trial by jury. According to the lawsuit, Dickerson-Neal, who was a Syracuse University student at the time, reluctantly agreed to have dinner with Combs while on school break for the holidays. During their date, the suit claims that Combs intentionally drugged Dickerson-Neal, rendering her physically incapacitated. The suit further alleges that Combs sexually assaulted her and recorded the assault.

Days later, a male friend of Dickerson-Neal's revealed that he had viewed the recording of the assault along with others in the music industry. The lawsuit states that this revelation caused Dickerson-Neal's life to spiral out of control, leading to severe depression and suicidal ideation. Despite the emotional pain, Dickerson-Neal continued to work in the music industry at a DJ management company until she ultimately left due to Combs' rising prominence.

Combs' spokesperson denies the allegations, calling them "made up and not credible." The spokesperson characterizes the lawsuit as a "money grab" and claims that Combs never assaulted Dickerson-Neal. Additionally, the spokesperson argues that some of the implicated companies did not even exist at the time of the alleged incident.

This lawsuit comes on the heels of another settlement involving Combs. Just a week ago, Combs settled a lawsuit filed by his former girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, also known as Cassie. Ventura accused Combs of physical abuse, sexual slavery, and rape. Combs vehemently denied these allegations, and his representative emphasized that the settlement did not constitute an admission of wrongdoing.

The lawsuit against Combs is part of a wave of cases filed against high-profile men in New York under the state's Adult Survivors Act. This law allows adult sexual assault survivors one year to sue, regardless of when the original statute of limitations expired. As the deadline for filing under this law approaches, more individuals are coming forward with allegations against public figures.

Combs, a highly influential figure in the hip hop industry, has yet to comment on the recent lawsuit. CNN has reached out to Combs and Bad Boy Records for comment, but there has been no response at the time of reporting. The outcome of the lawsuit remains uncertain, as both parties prepare to present their cases in court.
