A tragic shooting at a block party in Memphis, Tennessee, has left two people dead and multiple others injured, authorities said. The incident took place near Orange Mound Park, south of Simons Bank Liberty Stadium, where as many as 300 people were in attendance. Interim Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn “CJ” Davis stated that at least two suspects are being sought in connection with the shooting. Five people were found with gunshot wounds at the scene, with two males pronounced dead and three others rushed to local hospitals. Additionally, 11 more gunshot victims arrived at hospitals in private vehicles.
