Tragic Plane Crash in California Leaves Six Dead Riverside County, California - In the early hours of Saturday morning, a Cessna C550 business jet crashed near French Valley Airport, claiming the lives of all six individuals on board. The victims have been identified as Ibrahem Razick, 46, of Temecula; Alma Razick, 51, of Temecula; Lindsey Gleiche, 31, of Huntington Beach; Manuel Vargas-Regalado, 32, of Temecula; Riese Lenders, 25, of Rancho Palos Verdes; and Abigail Tellez-Vargas, 33, of Murrieta. The Riverside County Sheriff Coroner"s Office confirmed their identities. The fatal incident occurred at around 4:15 a.m. local time, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The plane was en route from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada to California when it tragically went down. The cause of the crash remains unknown, and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation. The small aircraft crash triggered a fire in the surrounding area, scorching approximately one acre of vegetation. The Riverside County Fire Department promptly responded and contained the fire by 5:35 a.m. "The fire burned approximately one acre of vegetation, was contained at 5:35 a.m. and the incident has been turned over to RSO and the FAA," CAL FIRE reported via social media. This devastating incident marks the second crash near French Valley Airport in less than a week. Just days earlier, on Tuesday afternoon, another Cessna crashed, resulting in one fatality and three injuries. The deceased individual has been identified as Jared Newman, a 39-year-old Temecula resident and father of the three surviving passengers. It was revealed that Newman was operating the aircraft under a training license, which is prohibited by federal regulations. The community remains in shock as investigations continue into both crashes. The FAA and NTSB are working diligently to determine the cause of these tragic accidents.
