Meghan Markle, Prince Harry move on from royal family drama: 'A new life'

06:03 03.08.2023

In a new report, it has been revealed that Meghan Markle, 41, is taking a "much softer approach" to the royal family drama involving her husband, Prince Harry. According to a source, the situation between Harry, 38, and his father and brother is still difficult for him, but Meghan has been supportive and has moved on from her negative views on the matter. The couple has also made significant changes in their lives by moving continents and setting up a new life with their two children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

However, their strained relationship with the royal family continues. There have been tensions between Harry and Prince William, 41, as well as with King Charles, 74. Harry has previously spoken out about his family dynamics, alleging in a 2019 interview that his brother was not supportive of his relationship with Meghan. He also claimed that Prince William and others in the family were not accepting of Meghan when she joined the royal family. In December, the couple shared more about their decision to step away from their roles as working royal family members, further straining their relationship with the family.

According to People magazine, William and Harry are not on speaking terms currently, with Meghan and Harry focusing on their children and their family values. The source emphasized that the couple is united when it comes to raising their kids and that they are both great parents.

Despite the family drama, Prince Harry did attend a royal event in May and briefly interacted with some family members before returning to California to celebrate their son Archie's 4th birthday. However, the couple has faced setbacks in their professional endeavors, as their podcasting deal with Spotify fell apart in June. They had signed a $20 million deal with the streaming company but only produced one podcast series called "Archetypes." Insiders alleged that the couple had been difficult to work with and had not conducted their own interviews for the podcast. The entertainment industry reportedly turned its back on the couple after the collapse of their Spotify deal, and their Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," received mixed reviews.

However, Meghan and Harry remain focused on their philanthropic work. They recently made a public appearance together in a video for their Archewell Foundation, where they congratulated recipients of The Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund. The couple expressed gratitude for the recipients' efforts and emphasized the importance of their work for their children's future. The fund awarded 26 young people and organizations a total of $2 million to support their efforts in building a more inclusive and accountable online world.

While their relationship with the royal family remains tense, the couple continues to move forward. Meghan has recently signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavor, and Harry is working on his series "Heart of Invictus," which follows athletes on their journey to competing in the Invictus Games. Despite the challenges they have faced, industry insiders believe that Meghan and Harry's story is far from over and that Hollywood loves a comeback.
