Britney Spears blasts fans who called police after knife-dancing act: 'I've been bullied in my home for so long'

In a surprising turn of events, Britney Spears' recent viral knife dancing video has reportedly saved a struggling prop shop in Los Angeles. The Hand Prop Room, a local store that specializes in providing props for various productions, saw a significant increase in online purchases and calls after the pop icon mentioned them on her Instagram. According to the manager, who wished to remain anonymous, their business has doubled since Spears' video went viral.

The Hand Prop Room has been facing financial challenges since the start of the Writer's Guild of America strike in May. The manager revealed that the store has been barely scraping by, but thanks to the influx of customers interested in buying the fake knives featured in Spears' video, they have experienced a sudden surge in sales. Not only have online purchases increased, but rentals of props, particularly knives, have also gone up by 50 percent.

The video that sparked this unexpected boost in business shows Spears dancing to an unknown song outside her California home. Wearing a salmon-colored polka dot crop top and white bottoms, she playfully swings the fake knives around, creating a mesmerizing performance. In the caption of the video, Spears assures her followers that the knives are not real and were rented from the Hand Prop Room. She even jokes about Halloween being soon, suggesting that the video was part of her festive spirit.

However, despite Spears' clarification, some fans grew concerned and called the police to perform a wellness check on the singer. In response to these actions, Spears took to Instagram to express her frustration, berating those who had ordered the check. She emphasized that the knives were fake and criticized the media for sensationalizing the situation.

Interestingly, TMZ reported in their documentary, "Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom," that the pop star has had a fascination with knives for years. TMZ founder Harvey Levin, who is featured in the documentary, claimed that Spears lives in constant fear of being forcibly institutionalized again. This fear stems from her past experiences of being involuntarily hospitalized twice in 2008 and being sent to a mental health facility in 2019.

While Spears' video may have inadvertently brought attention to her fascination with knives, it has undeniably breathed new life into the struggling Hand Prop Room. The store, which has been grappling with financial difficulties for months, is now experiencing a much-needed boost in sales and rentals. Fans rushing to purchase the fake blades mentioned by Spears have given the prop shop a lifeline, providing a glimmer of hope for its future.
