Meanwhile, the situation between Israel and Hamas remains tense. Hamas launched a surprise terror attack on Israel, resulting in over 1,300 Israeli deaths and numerous injuries. Israeli authorities believe that around 150 people have been taken captive by the terrorists and are being held in Gaza. In response, Israel has called up 360,000 military reservists to counter the Hamas-led terror campaign.

Israel has warned the 1.1 million people residing in the northern part of Gaza to evacuate within 24 hours as a humanitarian measure to minimize civilian casualties ahead of a potential full-scale invasion to reclaim the hostages and eliminate Hamas terrorists. Despite the presence of Israeli infantry forces and tanks in the Gaza Strip for localized raids, the IDF clarified that this is not the anticipated ground invasion. IDF spokesman Jonathan Conricus shared a message sent to Gaza citizens, urging them to evacuate to the south of the Wadi Gaza area for their safety.
