Despite Simpson's acquittal in the criminal trial for the murders of Brown Simpson and Goldman, he was found liable in a civil court case in 1997. Simpson's life after his release from prison in 2017 was focused on a golf-and-country club lifestyle, with occasional social media posts about sports.
