In a tragic incident on Saturday night, a 3-year-old child and two adults were shot dead at a Jacksonville, Florida apartment complex. The authorities believe that the motive behind the shooting was a dispute over the private sale of a dog. According to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Assistant Chief J.D. Stronko, the victims had gone to an apartment on A.C. Skinner Parkway along with two others to meet with individuals regarding the dog sale.

During a press conference early Sunday morning, Stronko revealed that there were five individuals in the group - four adults and the toddler. It was during this meeting that a dispute erupted, leading to the outbreak of gunfire. Patrol units were immediately dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of shots fired just after 10 p.m. Unfortunately, three individuals from the group lost their lives, including the innocent 3-year-old child. Another adult was also injured in the shooting.

Eyewitnesses informed the police that two unidentified Black men were observed fleeing the scene in a black sedan. Authorities are now actively seeking information from the public and encouraging anyone with relevant details to come forward. During the press conference, Stronko expressed the authorities' frustration, stating that they have as many unanswered questions as the public does at this point.
