Taylor Swift cheers on boyfriend Travis Kelce at Chiefs vs. Patriots game

Pop superstar Taylor Swift made a grand entrance at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in their game against the New England Patriots. Swift, accompanied by her father, Scott Swift, who is a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan but was donning Chiefs gear for the occasion, was joined by Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and singer Alana Haim.

The trio was spotted chatting and enjoying the game as it kicked off. Swift, known for her passionate support of her loved ones, got animated during the third period when Kelce took a hit in the endzone from Patriots player Myles Bryant. She was seen hurling an expletive and appeared to yell the f-word in her frustration. This was reportedly Scott Swift's first game of the season, and he seemed to be fully embracing the Chiefs fandom alongside his daughter.

Swift and Kelce's relationship has been the subject of much speculation, with rumors swirling since September when Swift appeared at Arrowhead Stadium to watch him play. In a recent interview with TIME, Swift confirmed that they were already dating at that time. She debunked the theory that their first date was at that game, stating, "We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."

Swift, who has performed some of her most iconic concerts at Gillette Stadium in the past, seemed to feel at home in the venue. In fact, before the game, Kelce was seen glancing at a poster of Swift that was displayed in the stadium's hallways. The image appeared to be from her "1989 World Tour" in 2015, the same year she performed in Foxborough. Swift also performed at Gillette Stadium earlier this year as part of her "Eras Tour."

Despite the excitement surrounding Swift's presence at the game, she wasn't the only star in attendance. Jon Bon Jovi, a New Jersey native and longtime friend of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, made an appearance to ceremoniously ring the bell before the game started.

Swift's ability to travel and support Kelce is due to the break in her touring schedule for the international leg of her Eras Tour. However, the Chiefs have been on an uncharacteristic losing streak, suffering back-to-back losses. Fans of Swift and the Chiefs eagerly awaited her arrival, with some even holding up signs on the sidelines.

On a separate note, Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, who is currently benched, attended one of Swift's recent shows at Gillette Stadium. He was accompanied by his girlfriend, Sophie Scott. With Jones out of the game, quarterback Bailey Zappe started for the Patriots as they trailed the Chiefs 27-10 in the second half.

Sunday's game was the seventh Chiefs game that Swift has attended this season. She has been a constant presence in the stands, offering her unwavering support to Kelce and the team. Despite the losses, Swift remains optimistic, and the couple is looking forward to a win to break their two-game skid.

Swift's busy schedule also included celebrating her 34th birthday just days before the game. Leading up to her birthday, she cheered on Kelce in Kansas City, where the Chiefs suffered a 20-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 14. However, the couple made up for the defeat with a cozy night out at a Kansas City holiday bar.

As Swift's hiatus from her blockbuster Eras Tour continues, she will resume touring in February, traveling to Japan, Australia, Europe, Canada, and the U.S., among other tour stops. Despite her global fame and success, Swift remains dedicated to supporting her loved ones and making time for the things that matter most to her, including football and her relationship with Kelce.
