While it is unclear if they used the document to get married, Lynn Marie Goya, Clark County clerk and head of the marriage license bureau, confirmed that a certificate had not been returned yet.

The marriage certificate, which was released publicly on Monday, reveals that Usher and Jenn Goicoechea paid a $102 filing fee and lists their full names as Usher Raymond IV and Jennifer Jean Goicoechea. The document also states that Usher has been married before, having divorced his first wife, Tameka Foster, in 2009 after two years together. He received custody of their two sons. Additionally, it notes that Goicoechea, 40, has never been married before.

The wedding ceremony took place at Vegas Weddings, with Usher's mother, Jonnetta Patton, serving as one of the witnesses. The officiant for the ceremony was Rev Ronald Joseph Polrywka, who is known for dressing up as Elvis Presley. The location of the ceremony, whether in the chapel or drive-thru lane, was not specified by Usher's representative, who did not immediately respond to questions.

Lynn Marie Goya, the head of the marriage license bureau, expressed no surprise that Usher and Goicoechea chose Las Vegas as their wedding destination. She stated, "Naturally they got married in Las Vegas. What better place than the Wedding Capital of the World?"

The owner of the Vegas Weddings Chapel, Melody Willis-Williams, congratulated the newlyweds and expressed her excitement at hosting their special day. She said, "We were beyond thrilled to host this epic day for Usher and his new wife." However, she also respected the couple's privacy, stating, "As much as we love love, this is the couple's news to share any further details on. We'll always be fans of Usher! Yeah!"
