A former school resource officer in Washington state, Elias Huizar, is at the center of a horrifying crime spree that has left two women dead and a 1-year-old boy abducted. The Washington State Patrol issued an Amber Alert for the missing child, Roman Huizar, as they believe Elias is "possibly headed to Mexico." The alert describes Roman as having brown hair and brown eyes, while Elias is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with the same features. Elias is suspected of murdering his ex-wife and girlfriend, both of whom were found dead in separate locations. The investigation began when police responded to a shooting at Wiley Elementary School, where one woman was pronounced dead. Later, a second victim, identified as a known associate of Elias, was found dead in his home. Elias Huizar is also facing charges of child rape, with court documents indicating he allegedly sexually assaulted a teenager in February. The Yakima Police Department confirmed that Elias was an officer there until February 2022. Authorities are urgently searching for Elias, who is considered armed and dangerous, and likely to commit more crimes.
