Comedian Tiffany Haddish was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) after allegedly falling asleep behind the wheel of her car in Beverly Hills. The incident occurred early Friday morning when authorities received a call about a person stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive. Haddish, who was parked in the lanes of traffic, was found hunched over the car wheel with the engine still running. Photos obtained by TMZ show the actress wearing handcuffs at the scene of her arrest. She was subsequently taken into custody and processed at the jail, a procedure that could take several hours due to required chemical tests for DUI cases.

This isn't the first time Haddish has had a run-in with the law. In January 2022, she was arrested in Georgia for suspicion of DUI. She was found dozing off behind the wheel, and authorities believed she had been smoking marijuana prior to driving. Haddish was taken to Fayette County Jail and later released on a $1,666 bond. Following her arrest, she addressed the incident on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," jokingly stating that she had been praying for a new man and God had sent her four in uniform.

Hours after her most recent arrest, Haddish took the stage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California, where she addressed the incident during her comedy set. An audience member eagerly asked her about what had happened the night before, to which Haddish replied, "You tell me, I don't know." She then joked about her prayers to be with a man in uniform being answered, saying, "I prayed to God to send me a man with a job, preferably in a uniform. God answered my prayers because God believes in me." Her punchline received outrageous applause from the crowd.

After her set, Haddish was seen climbing into the backseat of a black SUV with producer Jeff Beacher. Both appeared to be in good spirits. Haddish was dressed in an off-the-shoulder silky red top with hoop earrings decorated with a pendant and an Apple Watch, while Beacher wore a dark top that matched his black shades.

The Post reached out to Haddish's representatives for comment on the incident. Haddish is due in court on December 4 for her DUI case in Georgia. As for her latest arrest, she was released from custody later that afternoon with a citation. Despite her legal troubles, Haddish is scheduled to perform at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach later that evening.
