Texas police have released chilling images of a person of interest and are investigating the mysterious death of 16-year-old Lizbeth Medina, a cheerleader from Edna, Texas. Medina was found dead inside her apartment on December 5th after failing to show up to a Christmas parade earlier that day. The unidentified man, who was seen wearing a black “Volcom” sweatshirt and had a distinctive tattoo behind his right ear, was photographed running in surveillance photos. He was also seen driving a silver Ford Taurus, with model years ranging from 2010 to 2018.

Medina's mother, Jacqueline, discovered her daughter's lifeless body in the bathtub and immediately called 911. Emergency responders arrived but were unable to revive the young cheerleader. Jacqueline Medina believes that her daughter was murdered, possibly in connection to a recent break-in that occurred at their Cottonwood Apartments unit a couple of weeks ago.
