Tyreek Hill sued for breaking influencer's leg during football lesson

17:05 28.02.2024

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is facing legal trouble once again, this time being sued by social media influencer Sophie Hall for an alleged incident that occurred at his South Florida home last summer. According to the lawsuit filed in Broward County circuit court, Hall claims that Hill forcefully shoved her during a football drill at his mansion, resulting in a right leg fracture that required surgery with metal hardware implantation. Hall, who describes herself as a model, actress, and influencer with over 2 million followers, met Hill after enrolling her son in his football camp in May 2023. The suit alleges that Hill messaged Hall on Instagram, inviting her to his home and purchasing travel arrangements for her to stay with him for a few days. The incident occurred on June 28, when Hall participated in offensive line drills with Hill and caused him to fall backward, leading to him charging at her with great force. Despite downplaying her injuries, Hill allowed Hall to stay at his home until he arranged for her to return home. The lawsuit accuses Hill of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence, seeking damages in excess of $50,000. This legal trouble adds to Hill's history of off-field incidents, including allegations of domestic abuse and a recent divorce filing that he denied. The Dolphins have not publicly commented on the incident, and it remains to be seen how this lawsuit will impact Hill's career moving forward.
