The search for missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain in Nashville has entered its second week, with new clues emerging in the investigation. Strain, 22, was last seen at Luke's 32 Bridge bar in downtown Nashville on March 8, where security escorted him out at 9:35 p.m. after purchasing one alcoholic drink and two waters. Security footage shows Strain stumbling and holding his head while walking away from the Tempo Hotel where he was supposed to meet his friends. Subsequent footage shows him near Gay Street, the last known location before his disappearance. Police have been searching for Strain by land, air, and water, with no signs of foul play found so far.

On Sunday, Strain's bank card was found on the embankment between Gay Street and the Cumberland River, prompting an intensified search in the area. Body camera footage released on Monday shows Strain briefly interacting with an officer responding to a vehicle burglary in the same vicinity on the night of his disappearance. Strain appeared to be walking alone and did not seem distressed in the video. His stepfather, Chris Whiteid, revealed that Strain had visited two other bars before being kicked out of Luke's 32 Bridge and that he FaceTimed his mother from one of the bars earlier in the evening.

Whiteid expressed hope that the new information would help locate Strain and shed light on the potential dangers of visiting bars in Nashville. He emphasized that no new charges have been made on Strain's cards and that the family is actively searching for him. The community, including his fraternity brothers and local residents, have joined the efforts to find Strain and bring him home. Police continue to investigate his disappearance and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
