Georgia Mother-of-Four Found Dead, Husband Charged with Murder

A second arrest has been made in the death of Imani Roberson, a Georgia mother-of-four whose body was found by deputies after she was missing for more than two weeks, authorities said on Tuesday. Cedarius Glaze, Roberson's brother-in-law, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with helping to hide the victim's body, the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. Glaze, 28, was arrested just days after his brother, Roberson's husband Donell Anderson, was taken into custody and charged with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm.

Roberson, 30, was last seen on July 16 leaving her mother's house in Conyers with her two youngest children, a 1-month-old baby and a 3-year-old. Her body was discovered by cadaver dogs on Friday, not far from where the burnt remains of her white Mazda SUV had already been found in a secluded area about 24 miles from home, officials said at a press conference on Saturday. Her mother, Clarine Andujar-White, expressed her devastation at the confirmation of her worst fears.

After the July 16 dinner at her mother's house, Roberson left to take her baby and 3-year-old child home, leaving her two older children, aged 9 and 11, at her mother's house. Roberson had been in the process of moving in with her mother, but the reason behind this decision was not disclosed. The following day, Andujar-White filed a missing persons report after multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach her daughter.

Authorities became suspicious when blood was found at Roberson's home, indicating foul play. Doorbell video footage from a neighbor showed Roberson's vehicle leaving her driveway after a loud sound, which her father described as a gunshot from a distance. Donell Anderson was arrested on Friday night at an apartment in Atlanta, hours after Roberson's body was discovered. He has been charged with multiple offenses, including murder.

During a court appearance on Sunday, Anderson was represented by a public defender but is expected to eventually retain his own lawyer. Sheriff Eric Levett emphasized the dangers of domestic violence and urged victims to speak out and report abuse. The investigation into Roberson's death is ongoing, and authorities have hinted at the possibility of further arrests.

Roberson's four children, none of whom were harmed, are now left without both parents. The community is mourning the loss of a young mother and grappling with the tragic circumstances surrounding her death.
