Mysterious Hand Injury Lands Kate Middleton in Prison

18:47 12.09.2023

In a surprising fashion statement, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, visited High Down Prison in Surrey, England, sporting bandages on her right hand. The bandages were a result of a small injury she sustained while playing on a trampoline with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Kensington Palace confirmed that the injury was minor and not of serious concern.

Middleton, who became a patron of addiction charity The Forward Trust in June 2021, visited the prison to observe how inmates and their families receive addiction support. The Forward Trust offers services to help individuals break the cycles of addiction and crime. As a patron, Middleton has been instrumental in ensuring that more people and families have access to the help they need.

During her visit, Middleton wore a sharp navy blue pantsuit that perfectly complemented her loose hair and simple jewelry, including her stunning engagement ring from Prince William. The bandages on her hand were hardly noticeable next to her impeccable style.

High Down Prison houses approximately 1,100 male prisoners, and The Forward Trust provides various workshops and programs for addicts and their loved ones. Middleton's visit aimed to raise awareness about addiction and highlight the support available to those struggling with addiction within the prison system.

This engagement marks one of Middleton's first official appearances since the end of the summer break and her children's return to school. Recently, she also wore Queen Elizabeth's pearl earrings to a memorial service commemorating the first anniversary of the monarch's death.

In a lighthearted moment, Middleton, Prince William, Princess Anne, and their cousin Mike Tindall appeared on the "Good, The Bad, & The Rugby" podcast, where Middleton jokingly claimed not to be competitive. She revealed that she and Prince William have never managed to finish a game of table tennis together, as it turns into a mental challenge between the two of them.

While Middleton continues her philanthropic work and royal duties, her early days of dating Prince William are set to be dramatized in the upcoming final season of Netflix's "The Crown." The show will feature Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy portraying the royal couple, although the premiere date for the season has yet to be announced.
